Project overview

Grove Park Theatre is Wrexham’s oldest amateur theatre, providing the community with great value entertainment of a consistently high standard. Their shows range from comedy, drama and suspense through to costume plays, pantomimes and musicals.

After a successful creative pitch, we were tasked with an extensive overhaul of its branding and an exciting programme of theatre performances.

Objectives

To really make the new marketing applications stand out we introduced a element of depth into the brand across the various outputs, reflecting the dimensional nature of theatre by designing a collection of colourful shapes to signify collaboration, movement, inclusivity and an allusion to the spatial nature of the theatre experience.

The color palette captures the rich diversity of the theatre, infusing energy and boldness to the identity.

For the theatre’s debut season we created all the campaign materials for six shows. All very different in their narrative and style, each given its own distinctive art direction.

The result

It has been a pleasure to work with Grove Park Theatre from start to finish. They now have a brand and supporting applications that has not only increased ticket sales form the previous year but hugely adaptable for their future business needs.

Feedback from their patrons and the local community has been overwhelmingly positive and they are already seeing the benefits from our innovative creations. We look forward to collaborating with the theatre in the future and establishing a great long term working relationship.
